EC’s Juncker still optimistic on a deal

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Head of the European Commission J.C.Juncker argued that the door remains open for the EU and Greece to seal a deal, while he expects the ‘Yes’ to win the Greek referendum on Sunday.

He also said that the current proposal requires €12 billion less in cuts during the next years than the ongoing deal.

The Research Team at BofA-Merrill Lynch note that asset managers continued to build up longs at the back end, and further add that despite increased risks to global growth stretched positioning suggests risk to rates could be skewed toward a selloff.
