EUR/JPY retreats from 135.20

FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/JPY failed to holds above 135.00 after reaching a daily high at 135.20 and erased gains. The pair reached a fresh European session low at 134.73 and currently stands around 1.3475/80, the level it had at the beginning of the day.

The decline of the EUR/USD pushed EUR/JPY to the downside. USD/JPY remains steady moving in a range, between 118.90 and 118.65.

Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank, will testify at the European Parliament. Investors will look for what he has to say about Greece, the new purchase program and the economy.

EUR/JPY in ranges, no clear direction

Since the beginning of the week the pair is moving in a range with support around the 134.50 zone and resistance below 135.50. It is making lower highs but also higher lows since last Friday.
