EUR/USD rises toward 1.1500
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/USD printed a fresh daily high during the American session at 1.1497 and reached the strongest level in two days. Currently tares at 1.1485, up more than 150 pips for the day so far and it has been able to erase yesterday’s losses.
Greenback weakened across the board and pushed the pair to break above 1.1455 (previous highs) and climbed quickly toward 1.15000.
On Tuesday EUR/USD peaked at 1.1535 but failed to hold above 1.1500 ann started to retreat, dropping the next day 155 pips. The euro is about to post the strongest daily close since the European Central Bank announced a massive purchase program back in January 22.
