EUR/GBP hits 7-year low
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/GBP fell to a fresh 7-year low during the European session as SNB decision to scrap the EUR/CHF floor crushed the shared currency.
EUR/GBP broke below the 0.77 mark and plummeted to a low of 0.7622, its lowest since March 2008, as the knee-jerk reaction, although it managed to recover ground afterwards. At time of writing, the pair is trading at 0.7680, recording a 0.72% daily loss, marking its seventh in a row.
EUR/GBP technical levels
In terms of technical levels, EUR/GBP could find immediate supports at 0.7622 (7-year low Jan 15) and 0.7600 (psychological level), while resistances are seen at 0.7720 (10-hour SMA) and 0.7745 (Jan 15 high).
